Eight perfect murders by Peter swanson is 2020 William Morrow publication.
My Rating ššššš
A Literary delight for suspense lovers!!
Malcolm Kershow, the owner of a small bookstore, expertising in crome fiction, is caught amist
of FBI investigation. The killer is refering the list made by Mal, eight fictional perfect murders, as
an inspiration. As Malkam gets more involved with the investigation. The killer is simply copying
the murders listed by Mal and is getting away with it.
Who could the copy cat be??
Mal knows that he must find the copycat before the FBI gets to him because the killer might be
connected to Mal, his past, and the secrets that only he knows, secrets that no one else must
know.
Just a masterpiece!!!
My thoughts on this one are pretty much clear and straightforward I LOVED IT. JUST LOVED
IT.. What could be more perfect than a mystery, Book Store owner with the in-house cat, getting
and tangled in a series of serial killing where the killer is using his favourite books as inspiration.
I mean wow. 100/100 for the innovative thought.
Another best thing about the book was there are literal references to other some of the best
mystery books, which literally wanted to drop me whatever I was doing right away and read the
other books that were mentioned. I mean isnāt that just amazing.
My stories told in first person from the point of view of Mal, author, a very splendid job, reader,
actually find himself caught up in tje saga. After a point, it becomes pretty much clear that it is
an web of lies that needs untangling. Mal, soon goes from a simple bookstore owner to a man
with a dark past, and many secrets that no one must know.
āBooks are time travel. True readers all know this. But books donāt just take you back to the time
they were written, They can take you back to different versions of yourself. ā
If this isnāt perfect book, the perfect story, the perfect killer and the perfect Murder , I donāt know
what is. This is a very cleverly, put together psychological, suspense thriller that has the
potential to blow your mind like anything. With ending being extremely satisfying and all
questions been answered in the end I think this book deserves a total thumbs up from me. Very
unpredictable.
A must read modern day suspense thriller with classical murder mystery vibes.
